PokéPath Best Teams for Every Stage (Part 3) — No-Damage Lineups from a 900-Star Completion Player

By POKEPATH.IOLast updated: January 9, 2026

Hi everyone, this is POKEPATH.IO. This is Part 3 of our PokéPath TD Best Teams series. In this article, we cover Route 3-1, 3-2, and 3-3, featuring the legendary Regi trio: REGIROCK, REGICE, and REGISTEEL.

If you're looking for previous route team compositions, please check out:

For enhanced boss routes with Mega Evolution mechanics:

Our definition of "best team" means a lineup that requires no repositioning — simply place your Pokémon and clear the stage. Some routes use healing Pokémon to increase error tolerance, so it doesn't mean you won't lose any HP at all, but your health will stay near full throughout.

Beginner Tips (Read This First)

If your goal is a no-damage clear, the key prerequisites are:

  1. Unlock all 10 Pokémon slots first.
  2. Level the required Pokémon up to Lv. 100 as much as possible.
  3. Only after that should you start attempting the final boss of each route.

Note: The PokéPath TD Best Teams series is based on version 1.2.7 of PokéPath TD. For the latest team builds in the current version, check out our Community Best Team Builds page, featuring powerful lineups contributed by players!

3-1 No-Damage Best Team (vs REGIROCK)

The boss of Route 3-1 is very special — REGIROCK has nearly 1 million HP, making it impossible to defeat with a normal Pokémon lineup. However, this doesn't mean REGIROCK is hard to beat. As long as you use Pokémon with Poison abilities strategically, you can easily take it down. Therefore, we'll split the Route 3-1 guide into two parts: Wave 1–99 and the REGIROCK boss fight.

No-Damage Team Before REGIROCK (Wave 1–99)

Route 3-1 No-Damage Team Setup Before REGIROCK

The terrain on this map is perfect for SUNFLORA, which can buff a large number of Pokémon with its damage boost. Double MARACTUS is extremely effective at clearing waves on this map due to the favorable terrain layout. With this excellent positioning, we can AFK clear Waves 1–99 without taking any damage using only 9 Pokémon.

  • MARACTUS + DITTO (copying MARACTUS) – Main AOE DPS for grass tiles.
  • LILLIGANT – Secondary DPS for grass tiles.
  • SUNFLORA – Provides team damage buff.
  • EXCADRILL – Ground tile AOE DPS.
  • CORSOLA – Core AOE slow support.
  • GRUMPIG – Handles invisibility.
  • WHIMSICOTT – Healing support.
  • NOIVERN – Main single-target DPS.

No-Damage REGIROCK Team (Wave 100)

Route 3-1 No-Damage Team for REGIROCK

To defeat REGIROCK, you can only use Poison Pokémon. This is because REGIROCK is immune to all other status effects, and no Pokémon can deal 1 million direct single-target damage. Among Poison Pokémon, ARIADOS has the fastest attack speed, making it the best choice. Interestingly, you only need to manually control two spiders to keep attacking REGIROCK until it dies from poison damage.

  • ARIADOS + DITTO (copying ARIADOS) – The fastest Poison Pokémon. Keep both attacking REGIROCK to stack poison damage.

Summary

Due to REGIROCK's unique mechanics, fully automatic farming is not possible — you still need to manually control ARIADOS to defeat it. While it's not fully AFK, we've recommended the best team composition to clear Route 3-1.

3-2 No-Damage Best Team (vs REGICE)

Route 3-2 No-Damage Team Setup

Route 3-2 features REGICE as the final boss. This stage requires very strong single-target DPS, which is why we chose to copy ABSOL with DITTO.

Team Roster & Roles

  • ABSOL + DITTO (copying ABSOL) – Main single-target DPS against REGICE. Double ABSOL provides massive burst damage.
  • CORSOLA – Core AOE slow support. Essential for the entire stage.
  • MARACTUS – Main AOE DPS for grass tiles.
  • ABSOL – High burst single-target DPS.
  • FLYGON + PIDGEOT – Mountain tile coverage.
  • SPINDA – Confusion support to disrupt enemies.
  • SCEPTILE – Ground tile DPS.
  • XATU – Anti-invisibility Pokémon with long range and fast attack speed.

Summary

There's nothing particularly special about this stage. Using this POKEPATH.IO recommended best team, you can easily AFK clear Route 3-2.

3-3 No-Damage Best Team (vs REGISTEEL)

Route 3-3 No-Damage Team Setup

Route 3-3 can be AFK cleared before Wave 90, but manual adjustments are required after Wave 90. However, player RAMBO improved our lineup in version 1.3.3, view here, and testing confirmed it can automatically clear all 100 waves!

Team Roster & Roles

  • NOIVERN + DITTO (copying NOIVERN) – Main single-target DPS against REGISTEEL.
  • MARACTUS – Main AOE DPS for grass tiles.
  • LILLIGANT – Secondary DPS for grass tiles.
  • PIDGEOT – Mountain tile DPS.
  • ABSOL – High burst DPS for REGISTEEL.
  • XATU – Anti-invisibility Pokémon with long range and fast attack speed.
  • CORSOLA – Essential AOE slow.
  • EXCADRILL – Main AOE DPS for ground tiles.
  • CHARIZARD – Ground tile DPS with powerful burn ability.
Route 3-3 CHARIZARD Repositioning

After Wave 90, enemy strength increases significantly. CHARIZARD's burn ability performs exceptionally well on this map. When enemies move out of CHARIZARD's attack range, you need to manually reposition CHARIZARD to the location shown in the image above.

Summary

This lineup utilizes double NOIVERN's high single-target damage and CHARIZARD's burn damage. Manual adjustments are still required during the last 10 waves. However, player RAMBO improved our lineup in version 1.3.3, view here, and testing confirmed it can automatically clear all 100 waves!

If you can design a better fully automatic lineup, please include a screenshot of your team composition — submissions are welcome!
